Making a claim from Vaillant for incorrect work on boiler.

I rang D&G first and they put me on to Vaillant. Anyway I have now reported it to Gas Safe. The boiler service certificate from last year has the engineer's name and GS number.timjim said:I didn't think Vaillant used Domestic and General as they have their own engineer network

Looking at the boiler service certificate that Vaillant gave to my mother last December, they have ticked the box for 'flue and ventilation is correct'.
Regulation change over time & last year may have been within the regs. This year it is not.
Our boiler fitted at least 10 years ago. Always gets the not in regs. But it was when fitted & that's what matters.Life in the slow lane1 -

Well Gas Safe have been, Vaillant is at fault. Vaillant apologised profusely and did the work themselves, free of charge of course.ApolloHubble said:
