£30 armchair in Asda, looks like ikea poang chair

  • Hi
My husband loves sitting in my friend's poang chair, and it is perfect for him, no problems.
Yesterday we was in Asda and purchased their imitation for a much lower price. Had no problems putting it together. It looked good, but no one has mentioned what happens if you sit in it, if you are a heavy weight !! No it did not break, but the bottom of the wooden arms went down to about 4 inches from the floor. Then my husband needed my assistance to pull him up out of it. The chair sprung back to the correct level, and I sat in it ok with no problems.
So we took it appart and packed it up and took it back to Asda.
