Travel Insurance within UK - Accommodation cancellation.

Hi. We're looking for Insurance to cover cancellation of holiday bookings within UK. Due to health issues we now only travel within UK. Haven't been able find any insurers offering an annual multi trip policy. Some bookings do have associated Insurance cover available, but not all. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Les

A Google search for ' travel Insirance for UK holidays ' gave options

Does your bank account come with travel insurance as part of the package.  If so that will normally cover UK holidays but you would need to check exactly what would be covered.  Your pre-existing health conditions may well affect availability of cover.

Why? There are 100s of insurers that will cover annual multi trip in Europe (which UK is a part of). So is this due to your health declarations?

They'll may require you to have booked accommodation for a certain number of nights away from home for it to count as a holiday. But it should exist.

Most travel insurance will include UK holidays though there is often a requirement for at least 2 nights and for you to be staying in pre-booked accommodation (ie not staying with friends/relatives)
