I have invested into Bank of Georgia/Lion Finance - ticker BGEO. It has done extremely well of late, but information on the stock seems hard to come by. Anyone know where to look.....

The first place is the LSE’s website and you can find regulatory announcements there.Veloflyer said:I have invested into Bank of Georgia/Lion Finance - ticker BGEO. It has done extremely well of late, but information on the stock seems hard to come by. Anyone know where to look.....
For chat you could look at ADVFN’s forums.
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/BGEO/lion-finance-group-plc/company-pageThere’s a mention of it in this Investors’ Chronicle article. If you’re not able to read it, in general it’s positive.

1. Why did you invest in something where in your own words
"information on the stock seems hard to come by." and now you have to ask where to look for information?
2. Where did you hear about them in the first place?1 -
Does seem an odd choice of a ftse 250 investment and would also be interested how they came to the OPs attention.
In the meantime obvious source of information are the companies published accounts (2024) link below which indicates an interesting back story at page 7

I've seen it mentioned occasionally in Investors' Chronicle. When it was trading at much lower levels it had a good dividend so it would have appeared on equity income screens and might have been tipped for that if nothing else.poseidon1 said:Does seem an odd choice of a ftse 250 investment and would also be interested how they came to the OPs attention.

The OP's done well to hang on. I'd be tempted to lock in my gains and think about diversifying in a fund/IT. Banks are great until they suddenly aren't but that's me.

Cheers for that and previous post. Divi was one reason I bought, another was a tip from a pal. I am indeed tempted to sell as growth is nigh on 50% for me at present, but would like to read up a little first.wmb194 said:
