Coventry First Home Regular Saver 'maturing'

Curiously I have just received my FHS Iss 1 maturity letter, despite the account maturing yesterday.
Even more curiously, the letter says it will (would have if I had not taken the money elsewhere) mature into a First Home Access account at 2.20%, while the enclosed leaflet says the same account pays 2.85%0 -
I received the letter today too, and mine matures on Monday.
In my notes from when I opened it, I had it that I would receive interest on the anniversary each year (15th Dec for me) and then it would close on 31 Dec 2025. However I can’t see this date written anywhere else so am thinking I’m made it up / mis-read something. Does anyone else have anything about 31 Dec? Not that it matters - just curious (and mildly worried about my brain)0 -
No one would have 31st Dec in relation to Issue 1 as it was 3 years from opening and went NLA before Christmas.garfield33 said:I received the letter today too, and mine matures on Monday.

The T&Cs don't mention closing, the term ends on the third anniversary and the account "will automatically become an easy access account".Kim_13 said:

Just miffed I couldn't find a family member & first time buyer so I could bag the £500 "Celebratory Bonus".0 -
I briefly read the terms of the maturity account - the period for that extends for a further 2 years. not sure what the conditions for that were, I closed mine anyway.flaneurs_lobster said:

Oh yes, good spot. I'll have to try harder to keep in touch with the further reaches of my extended family (the CovBS terms don't actually define who a "member of my family" actually is) just in case I can swivel them towards an FTB Coventry mortgage.happybagger said:

Finally received the letter in the post today however my account already matured a couple of days ago. It's dated 20 November but I find it impossible to believe they were sent out on that date. I know the postal service is bad at this time of year but not that bad.0

Agree. Mine was dated at around the same time and arrived on the same day as the closure statement (closed early on 3rd December.)fabsaver said:Finally received the letter in the post today however my account already matured a couple of days ago.
