I got awarded LWCRA yesterday and I just wanted to know when I will be paid and if I will be backdated. I am paid on the 14th every month and my assessment period is normally 7th-8th I think. I provided first fit note 17th July.

    Normally after 3 whole assessments from when you started health journey after   you provided first note. 
    The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

    1st fit note during Jul/Aug AP so waiting period is Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov. 

    First payment will be for Nov/Dec AP, so in your next UC payment.

    Based on that information you will not be owed any money.

    It was the 23rd July I provided my fit note I got it wrong does that make any difference to when I will get the money

    Your 1st LCWRA element should be included in your payment due on December 14th - (or as that is a Sunday then due on Friday December 12th).
    However there is no guarantee that it will be. There can be delays adding it.
    See what your December statement says (your AP  the 8th to the next 7th so your statement should be available on your journal on the 8th or 9th) and if an LCWRA element has not been included then ask them why not.
    From the details you gave then as already said no backpayment of LCWRA applies.
