Ive given permission for the council to review my Drs records, in order to get housing, bad idea?

Or good idea?
So the council wanted permission to see my Drs record and she said it would assist get me getting housing.
The problem is I rarely contact my Drs so my record is very sparse, I only tend to go if I need meds which I avoid like the plague or if there's a physical problem I try to fix alot the psychological stuff myself by reading and researching, im also a "tough mucker" I try to push through it all, and some of it is very embarrassing. Then when I really do need help ive asked and been denied sometimes and that doesnt get recorded. Then alot of 111 99 calls and hospital visits and even reports of suicide dont even get put on my record, not even panic which has been extreme for a very long time
So Im thinking they may view it and it will vastly undersell how bad my problems are/get.
Fortunately I have other evidence to support my case.
BUT should I now deny this ability or leave it open, they probably wont get me housing anyway because the system is broken, on the other hand I may get more money if I supply that and further evidence (which I have, hospital visits, help from foreign Drs, and at my own surgery where ive told them of problems but they didnt make it onto my record summery (which is unfairly sparse)
What do you guys recommend and what do you think of mixing benefits with Drs work in general?

If you haven't actually been to the Dr for a consultation on whatever the condition is which is moving you up the housing ladder, I can't see the records being of much use. However, if you refuse permission for them to be shared it certainly won't help your cause.2

I think 111 and 999 calls will end up in your GP record.0

they should do, as will summary of A+E / UTC/ MHUAC or Crisis team interventions...itsthelittlethings said:I think 111 and 999 calls will end up in your GP record.
111 summaries should got across automatically and ambulance attendances that don;t result in transport will do so as current Ambulance patient reporting is electronic and linked to NHS Spine system with 2 way links to primary care records0 -
Just wondering who you gave permission to. Have you given verbal or written permission to the council to request the information and/or permission to your GP surgery to share the information?
My GP surgery contacts me if a third party has requested access to my records as my GP surgery have their own forms for written consent (regardless of whether I have given signed consent to the third party).
Could you contact your GP surgery and explain you are concerned that not all relevant information has reached your GP summary page and request it is reviewed/amended. Information from other NHS services should be in your medical records, however sometimes it is about how the information is coded. I have some information in the correspondence/documents section (including 111 reports, hospital discharge, new diagnosis made during admissions or outpatient appointments etc) and the presenting problem/diagnosis is not mentioned in the summary of past and current medical problems. I also have some current medical problems listed under the 'past' section and some resolved medical problems that are in the 'current' section.
Another thing to consider is that with digital records you have more control on how information is shared and may be able to share information directly. For example, the council recently requested access to my medical records and I advised I did not believe it was proportionate for them to have full access to my medical records though I was willing to share relevant information. I requested the council put their request in writing and to be specific with regards to what information they needed and I would either share the information via patient access/NHS app or I would pass their written request to the GP.0
