UKPC and myself are in a war of emails! I sent them my utility bill and 1st page of the claims letter as a SAR request.

They've replied 5 times now asking for ID. I've gone back each time stating they don't need this and if I've received nothing by the deadline I'll raise a complaint to ICO.

I have now completed the N180 form via email and await the replies.

Had my telephone mediation appointment today.

​As expected, it went exactly the way the regulars here predicted. The mediator went back and forth between us, and DCB Legal put forward an offer to settle for £220.

​When the mediator asked for my counter-offer, I told them my counter was £0. I explained that the signage was physically blocked by a bike shelter and completely unlit at night, making it impossible to read.

​I also dropped the hammer on them regarding the landlord connection. Since my last post, I've managed to contact the site's managing agents (JLL). I actually have an email from them explicitly admitting that this specific spot was a "trap" they set up, and they've since had to change the rules because of how unfair it was.

​Unsurprisingly, DCB Legal didn't want to fold right there, so mediation failed to reach an agreement. I've already had the official email confirming the case is closed as unsettled.

​The claim will now be transferred out of the CNBC to my local hearing centre (Medway). Back to the waiting game for the Notice of Allocation and the witness statement stage where that JLL email will be front and centre! Thanks again to everyone for the guidance so far.
