UKPC via DCB Legal - Response Advice
Apologies for creating a new thread as I appreciate so much help is already here and I have tried to go through everything, so apologies again if I have missed the answer to the below.
I received a letter from DCB Legal today, dated 27th November.
This is from a parking fine in March where I apparently parked in a place I wasn't allowed too, however the only thing I have ever had from the retail park is a pitch black photo only showing my number plate, nothing else and I genuinely can't remember where I parked.
I've done all the correct appeals up to now and ignored the debt collection letters, however I appreciate I need to reply t this one and wanted to see if the below works:
Also, who should I be sending this too as appreciate ion the newbie thread it mentions finding the solicitors details?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Response to Letter of Claim – PCN Ref: ####
Your Reference: ####
Date of Letter: 27 November 2025
Dear Sir/Madam,
I write in response to your Letter of Claim dated 27 November 2025 regarding the Parking Charge Notice referenced above.
I deny any liability for the alleged contravention. I have only ever received one image from your client, which shows nothing other than my number plate. Despite requesting further photographs on multiple occasions, none have been provided. This failure to supply adequate evidence does not substantiate the claim.
Furthermore, I have demonstrated that the signage at the location is inadequate and does not meet the required standards for clarity and visibility. I have no recollection of parking incorrectly and never remain beyond the allotted time.
I therefore request that you provide:
- All photographic evidence relied upon for this claim.
- Copies of the signage in place at the site on the date of the alleged contravention, including evidence of positioning and visibility.
- Proof that the signage and terms comply with the relevant codes of practice.
Until this evidence is provided, this matter remains disputed. Please confirm that the case is placed on hold pending full investigation and disclosure of the requested documents.
Should you proceed with court action without providing the requested evidence or fail to consider this dispute properly, I will draw the court’s attention to your failure to comply with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims.
Yours faithfully,

Use the info@ email address for DCB Legal
Then await a Money Claim
Definitely not a fine, magistrates issue fines, not in these civil cases, zUkpc Issued a pcn, an invoice2 -
That's great, thank you. Is the response OK to send?0

Well it's not the recommended version so I can't agree. You do NOT want their evidence!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you all, very much appreciate your help.
I used the post in the newbie thread, apologies I didn't see this earlier.
I've not heard back from Dcb emailing their info@ address.
They did send an auto response which mentions:"Should you be in receipt of a letter of claim, please visit xxxx where you will find further information and be able to reply to the form accordingly."
Should I complete the form on this link too?0 -
Relax. Sometimes they come back with evidence 6+ months later. I've also seen them disappear back into their hole if you ask for evidence and never return to make a claim.
It messes with their modus operandi of minimum effort maximum return.
I'd do nothing and wait.

Thank you and sorry if I've completely missed the template reply? I've looked over a lot of forums and seems like most advice is to now wait for the claim pack.
Apologies, I can't see a template reply for an email such as this one.0
