Horizon parking is unfair!!

Hi this is my first post and I am hoping not to have to pay these fines!!!!

When I first started using a Premier Inn car park I phoned Horizon parking and was told I could pay after I had left using the website horizonspaces.co.uk. When I put in the post code of my hotel WD6 1US Premier Inn Borehamwood, the only hotel options that appear for a hotel guest are Travelodge Guest. So that is what I paid as I was a hotel guest. I paid for the full duration of my stay for a Horizon carpark in good faith. The fact that their website is misleading and wrong is not my fault. I have several parking charges from them (all appealed through POPLA and awaiting a decision)

If POPLA rejects my appeal, do I have a case? Could I send them court claim online? What are my chances? Help I am really worried!

    You don't have any fines.

Please read the NEWBIES thread first.

You should never have taken these cases to POPLA. Ignore them when you 'lose'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

When you pay for parking you are paying the land owner in your case it was Premier Inn, you have somehow been talked into paying Travelodge who are nothing to do with Premier Inn, and the car park is not owned by Horizon.
So in effect you paid a fee to park in a different car park, owned by a different company but it clearly says Travelodge with three different options on the Horizon site.
The fact is that Premier Inn did not get their parking fee, Horizon are only the middle man providing the system and they get any PCN fees for un-paid parking charges which is where you are.
I do not know why that Premier Inn is not included on their system, we have one in our little town and it is, also you can back pay by three days.
I doubt that the person you spoke to on the phone checked your particular destination and was probably putting parking charges in envelopes while she was pretending to listen to you and gave a scripted stock answer.
That phone call to Horizon isn't going to help as they will deny it and you will have no proof of what was said.
I suspect your appeal to POPLA was what happened on the day as you described, which will fail believe me forget it, they do not decide on mitigation only contracts and process.
I am not defending Horizon they are scammers and they are overjoyed that you are in this position, but their website is not misleading at all your hotel isn't listed, you paid for the wrong one which is well displayed for what and where it is, that argument won't wash.
But why on earth you did not pay at the hotel when you arrived I do not know!
You are now in the long haul with Horizon, I suspect you have a claim for each day of your stay, they will file a claim against you, you cannot claim anything against them.
But you have an invoice from a private firm there is not "fine" and no one pays them on her.
You could in fact say in one way; Horizon collected your money for the wrong car park, they will have evidence that your vehicle never went to the Travelodge so simply transfer the fee you paid to their other customer and you will pay a £20 admin fee, job done!
