Day 20 - Christmas Hamper Competition!
✨ Premier Cru Gruyere ✨
Le Gruyère AOP is the most awarded cheese in the history of the World Cheese Awards, having been named Supreme Champion an unprecedented six times, most recently at this year’s World Cheese Awards.
Around 400 litres of fresh, unpasteurised milk are needed to produce a single 35kg wheel. Aged for a minimum of 12 months, this Swiss Gruyère is dense and firm in texture. The flavour is deep and savoury, with pronounced nutty notes, a gentle sweetness and a long, rounded finish that builds as you eat it.
