Winter Fuel Allowance - If I opt out will hubby get full amount?

My hubby is over 80 so if he was on his own he would be eligible for £300.
This year he received £200 and I received £100.
I am 69 but still work a little so will just be under the £35k limit.
My question is....if I opt out does that mean that I am then not eligible for the Winter Fuel Payment my husband would get the full £300?

You can't opt out now for this Winters payment, that boat has sailed.Duffer56 said:My hubby is over 80 so if he was on his own he would be eligible for £300.

Even if you had chosen to opt out you would still be "eligible" for it and your husband would get £200, not £300.
Although at least one person thinks differently.

If you’re still getting 300 between you, does it make any difference anyway? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Don't opt out and make extra work for yourself and be £100 down. If you don't want the money, although you will end up with the same amount - £300, then donate to charity,Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
