Yes, that dubious function is often farmed out to algorithm and data happy numerologists. So what is this FA doing other than being paid for some product long since sold. IFAs have some utility in helping people with specific financial scenarios like drawdown, but this FA seems to de doing sweet...wheel he's an FA.wjr4 said:

That is not a small pot! I would not be paying those adviser fees personally, tell them you want to stop paying as you get no value from it. They won't like it, of course, but there we are.1
