Cutting quartz

Part of my bathroom renovation I've got a quartz worktop to cut with a angle grinder, what's the best disc for this or is there a different way to cut it

Straight cuts only? If so, how about a diamond blade?

Be sure to control where your dust goes, and wear a suitable particle mask. Perhaps something like this:

If you are confident in your measurements is there a granite worktop supplier you could take it to get cut?

If you do go ahead be wary of creating dust for the reason's mentioned above.

One DIY way of suppressing dust while cutting is get a wahing up liquid bottle full of water and a suitable bit of plastic tubing and get someone to wet the cut as you go along, turning the dust into a slurry rarther than airborne dust.

There have been a few news articles recently about installers suffering from dust inhalation, so best masks for the job are a given.
