TfL Delays Refunds and/or Compensation

Does TfL ever offer compensation, rather than just a refund, for delays leading to loss?

If you register your Oyster card or contactless payment card at https://oyster.tfl.gov.uk/oyster/entry.do you can request a refund if you are delayed by more than 15 minutes.
