Morning all (just) and thanks @Gers for the start. The early morning mist has just about cleared and it's drizzling now, to be followed by rain, sometimes heavy, for the rest of the day. Yet another grey day then.
I'm another one who hates 'grey'. Yesterday I was much more productive but did notice when we had a wet spell that I could feel my energy levels dropping until the sun came out again. I think I must have SAD.
As part of the Xmas prep, this morning I've made individual mini cheesecakes for the freezer, plain vanilla ones that can be made a bit fancier with fresh fruit toppings once they've defrosted. They're no bake ones so I've not used any energy, except my own for whipping the cream.
Other than that, it's just the usual daily stuff and a bit of pottering. I still haven't decided what meat I want for Xmas but DS is taking me to Lidl later this week so I might find inspiration there. Tea tonight is a Thai green chicken curry with rice.
@TA - Sounds like a busy day, enjoy the show tonight.
@Scarlet - I do that with cheese too and keep meaning to do it for pastry. I've always made pastry by hand but, thanks to ancient dodgy fingers, might have to resort to the food processor.
@Gers - Glad to hear you've got a date for your op. Perhaps not the ideal time of year but I suppose you could always look on it as being an early Xmas present!
@Teaparty_mum - Have a good 'doing nothing' day!
@Izzy - Gentle hugs for your friend in hospital.
@mehefin - There's a lot of Xmas lights turn-ons today, I hope you don't get rained on.
@Ruby - That really is excellent news - now don't you go wearing that WM out!
@Chrisca - My DS still remembers the Odor Eaters I gave him one year - he really did have whiff-y feet! (Still does too.)
@WL - Have a lovely day out, I'm sure your dancing will be fine.
Right, back to it, then lunch. Have a good day all, take care. Best wishes to the poodles too. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.8
