Well no, theoretically it shouldn't which is why the necessary fees are generally recoverable (ie you can add it to the ex-tenant's debt). However initially it costs money to search so someone has to outlay the money and then recover it from the ex-tenant. If the ex-tenant never pays, then surely that shouldn't come out of public funds..0 -

Attachment of earnings? I would think you would need to go to court for that. I wonder if you inform the tenant that you will be requesting a deduction from earnings from the employer might help. Employer will say ‘nuffin to do with them’ but maybe the tenant may not want their boss knowing their personal financial problems??Android07 said:silvercar said:

I presume so. The tenant was with the same employer in April.0
