Bathroom door opening towards hallway- Does building control officer fail my garage conversion?

Hello all,
As part of my integral garage conversion, one of the new doorway will be to a downstairs bathroom (2.6 m * 1.5 m ) in the integral garage. Due to space constraint in the bathroom I am thinking of making the 30 inch door open outwards towards the hallway. The hallway is 1 meter wide.
From what i have read, this will create a blocking to outside in case of emergency and this will be failed by BCO. I haven't spoken to my BCO yet. Will this affect my whole Building regs certificate for the conversion or will the conversion pass with any warnings.

I also have access to my garden , from both my kitchen and the living room.
Thanks.

Are you sure there's not room to have it opening inward into the bathroom, hang it at a different side. Have you got a plan you can post here of the layout.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

How about a solid wood folding door which opens inwards.1
