Not a chance I'd do that! (Argos drivers) Where does tipping stop?Largs said:I even tip the Argos drivers. If it was me between £10 and £20 each.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!6 -
We gave ours £20 each - they were excellent, really efficient, quick, helped us move an item out of the flat that we couldn’t leave but weren’t taking with us, and shifted two heavy sofas that we’d bought from the sellers of the house we moved to from one end of the ground floor to the other without a word of complaint. They absolutely deserved that tip!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I think I tipped £20 each. (They did a great job, packed and moved with such efficiency)1

I wouldn't be tipping Argos or any other delivery such as yodel Amazon etc.
House moving it would be about £20 each.0 -
We tipped ours £50 each. This was for a 2-day long-distance move and an overnight stay for them2

£20 each for my move last month, for a simple move 9:30am - 4pm.
I'm considering tipping the next time an Amazon driver succeeds in delivering the package to the correct house and then leaving it in the garage as opposed to on the lawn, or letting themselves into the house without knocking and walking around in the hallway. In fact, I'll throw a street party too.

I moved during lockdown and gave a tip of £20 each as well as refreshments so they could help themselves. I'd made flasks of tea and coffee and biscuits, as well as cans of coke/lemonade in a coolbox. It was a hot day and they were very grateful.£216 saved 24 October 20142

I had a move of less than a mile. It had been a traumatic long sale and midwinter with no heating, cooking or clean water in my new place.
Frankly I was completely spun out. I forgot didn't have time to get them a tip..
However the day was filled with mugs of tea, toast and good biscuits. I gave £20 each after the fact and a bag of biscuits for their tea breaks back at the depot.
Got nothing but praise for them sorting the furniture and boxes. There was only san empty space instead of a garden and when I finally came to they had placed all my shrubs in pots around making a border......and my gnome was turned with his bare backside facing the house.
Whether that was a comment to me or just for a laugh I daren't ask but it gave me a smile when I needed it 😊
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
