E: 20/12 Win a £200 Dobbies Garden Centre Voucher to spend in store

https://www.thesun.co.uk/competitions/37460594/win-dobbies-garden-centre-voucher-spend-store/

This Christmas, Dobbies Garden Centres is giving one lucky person the chance to win a £200 gift card to spend in-store, perfect for getting your home ready for the festive season.

With real Christmas trees now available in Dobbies stores nationwide, you can choose from a wide range of freshly cut and pot-grown varieties for your holiday centrepiece.

To keep your real Christmas tree looking its best, Dobbies’ Plant Buyer, Nigel Lawton has the following tips.

He said: “Once you have your real tree home, keep it outside in a sheltered area, cut 1” off the base of the trunk and stand in a bucket of water until you are ready to bring it indoors as this will help reduce needle drop.

“The Nordmann Fir loses very few needles, so should stay green and full with the right care, and the Fraser Fir also has great needle retention.
Keep it hydrated

“Once inside, position your tree in its water holding stand and ensure the water reservoir is replenished on a regular basis to make it last
throughout the season.

“Keep it away from radiators and heat sources as these can dry your tree out faster.

“Freshly cut trees are a fantastic option for those who love that real tree smell and a truly authentic Christmas vibe.

“Varieties including Nordmann Fir, Fraser Fir and Blue Spruce will all give that classic Christmas scent to make your home feel extra festive.”
