Please help, two issues, one default reported late and one default not reported at all

Hello everyone,
Saw a few surprises on my credit score and need some advice.
First one is this one from Virgin Mobile. Honestly I don't have a clue about this one, maybe I took out a sim and forgot about it, I don't recall making a single payment.
The issue is there was no default added on Equifax since 2017, even the payment history itself starts from 2019? Since it was settled in 2023, I can expect it to stay on my record until 2029? Anyone know why there isn't a default date? Is this something that can be corrected? Surely the default should have been added after 3-6 months of missed payments.

Second one is this one from Creation Finance:
The default was added after 31 months of missed payments and then sold off to Lowell. Is comes off in March 2026 anyways, is this normal? Is it worth even pursuing this one at this point?

Any advice would be appreciated

Service agreements are not subject to the consumer credit act, so the rules on defaults, s.87(1) do not apply.
You would have to check the terms and conditions of the service agreement you (allegedly) signed up too, in order to ascertain your position on this one.
As for the Creation debt, clearly they dealt with this with little regard for the FCA guidelines regarding defaults.
If you want to complain you can do, but as its due to drop off your file in 4 months anyway, you would need to decide if it was worth the effort.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. So I'm basically a no-go for a mortgage then till 2029 because of the Virgin Mobile one? Or do you think it won't really matter because it's settled and no default was added?sourcrates said:Service agreements are not subject to the consumer credit act, so the rules on defaults, s.87(1) do not apply.

Also do you not think it's strange that for 2017 and 2018 there's no history reported for Virgin? Do you think I could ask Equifax to remove it on any grounds?fluffybunnies22 said:
