MusicMagpie have my money but have no record of my order. Any of you had probs with them?

so my husband ordered a refurbished watch from musicMagpie. The money went through on our credit card, we had an order confirmation email, and the order was shown on his musicMagpie account. It hasn’t been sent. It’s still showing as pending.

Contacted musicMagpie, told them the order number , they say they have no record of the order. We have been talking with them by chat and on the phone and all they will say is that they have escalated it and it will take 48 hours to get back to us.

It’s a bit of a worry that they have over 300 quid of ours and say that there is no record of the order at all. I’m now in the process of charging back with my credit card, but I’m unlikely to see that money back for a while. 

I wondered if anybody else had had problems with this company?

You really shouldn't have started any process with your CC provider until you've had a reply from the seller.

You've jumped the gun and will likely complicate the issue further.

Probably not, but have you checked it's not a clone MM site you've used? Even if the URL looks right, special characters can be used which means its actually a different site.
