Ebay £10 reward for using app doesn't work

Well I scanned the barcode and downloaded the app on the premise of £10 reward voucher for buying via the app. Loaded items in my basket for over the £50 minimum spend requirement and nothing. No voucher showing anywhere. beware as this might be a scam!

It’s not a scam, it’s just eBay being  eBay.
Have you looked in notifications on the app, as these vouchers tend to lurk in there somewhere?

Yeah, definitely a scam by ebay. Im having this issue, and looking on the internet, so is many many others. Ebay (and Amazon for that matter) are truely awful.

Something not working properly does not make it a scam.
A scam is when people take money from you, which is not happening here. You have the choice to buy or not depending on whether you get the £10 off or not. You are not being defrauded of anything.

It doesn’t work for me either but it’s not a scam. It’s just eBay’s implementation of these things is often rubbish. Poor service rather than deliberate fraud.
