Garden plant advice

I am looking at adding some nice low maintenance plants and flowers to our garden. Our garden is south facing, can anyone suggest any good plants or flowers that i can add?

Location? Soil type? City? Rural?
I like lavender and daffodils. honeysuckle is good for climbing. grape hyacinths are very successful in all sorts of soil. Lilacs can be great, go for purple rather than white as the white goes rather brown after a bit, but both smell nice. They've got loads of useful advice, as well as a "plant-finder": https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/search-formYou can enter dozens of parameters such as your soil type, garden aspect, what colours you're looking for, that kind of thing - it might be a good starting point to get some inspiration.0

You've not given much to go on but -
Do you want year round interest or just seasonal colour ?
I would always suggest year round, evergreen colour by shrubs and semi evergreens and underplant with seasonal colour.
I;m presuming you mean planted and not potted ?0
