My comp has been running very slow done a cc cleaner, spybot, adaware, full virus check so thought i would get a hijack this scan anything i should worry about on it???

No serious malware likely to cause the problem you have.

However this one ...

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE

...is monitoring what you do. I would describe it as spyware and use HJT to fix it, find the file and delete it but the choice is yours.

The slowness my be down to the sheer volume to Running Processes you have. Maybe you don't actually need them all to run. Perhaps you could configure some of them to run only if you trigger them manually.

I ended up with an unnamed trojan this afternoon. I have AdAware and was advised to put the machine into safe mode to remove it. It didn't seem to work so I restored my computer to yesterday. One or the combination seems to have worked. I just wanted to drop by and thank you very much for the link on "Help, my computer is slow". I'm performing a couple of things now so cheers for that.

That would depend on where its running from when it was created, if its the legit file cloned ,copied or hijacked and also if it were a cracked version of the software check here http://hjt.networktechs.com/ seeming as the OP has said it has an unkown Trojan and this picks it up as a Trojan think he should check it out ?

Not sinister, eh? Not for you maybe but I don't like anyone monitoring any aspect of what I do on my computer and I suspect most other folk don't either. If it's possible to eliminate any spying I advise taking the appropriate action.

There's nothing malicious about the Kaspersky entry.

The Sysinfo link shows mearly the display name of a "Run" key in the registry. The filepath to a malicious Mutbot trojan would be something like C:\Windows\System32\badfile.exe. Granted, there are examples of file infecting virus's which change legit files and give them malicious intent but these would be flagged by anti-virus software and would effect all running processes. As this is not the case here, I'm afraid there's as much chance of Derby County winning the Premiership than there is of brightontraveller's diagnosis being even remotely correct.

But you cannot rule it out by you own admission suggest you take it up with the people who do the site in previous post if it bothers you that much I'm sure they would be interested in your opinion its there opinion as however remote the chance its there ?
