    Hi all,

    Thanks for the previous comments.

Quick update. I sent my LBA response to CEL's legal team using the robust email template from the guide.

They have replied via email with the following:

    • They refused to provide the landowner contract, saying they only have to produce it if the matter goes to court.
    • They claim the driver entered during "daylight hours".
    • They provided two CCTV stills. The entry still is timestamped 18:46 (which is 1 minute before sunset that day, and the car's headlights are already visibly on, in the image). The exit still is 19:12 and is completely pitch black (no visible light in the car park. Only some light from the trainstation opposite and the car's headlights directed out of the car park).
    • They didn't provide contemporaneous photos of the signage. Instead, they just referenced a "site plan" showing street light columns and claimed signs are beneath them, stating they are "capable of being read upon reasonable inspection". They didn't attach a copy of this site plan, nor the photos of the signs.

I am not going to reply to their email as I know I shouldn't get into a pen-pal war. I assume my next step is simply to wait for the County Court Claim form from Northampton to arrive in the post?

    Cheers.
