Hi
I always message my buyers to confirm when their item will be purchased but I get this automatic message back from Ebay, ,does anyone else?
Your buyer has reached
out about their order. Since you used Simple Delivery, we'll work with
your buyer directly on any delivery related questions.
Is there any way to send items using large letter using Simple Delivery. If so can you let me know how please.
Thanks
Ms Choc

I'm sorry I don't follow? Did you mean to say 'I always message my buyers to confirm when their item will be purchased'?Ms_Chocaholic said:HiI always message my buyers to confirm when their item will be purchased but I get this automatic message back from Ebay, ,does anyone else?Your buyer has reached out about their order. If this is anything to do with answering questions about how quickly you ship, or when items are likely to arrive then yes the auto message kicks in as on SD ebay handle all issues arising from postage and delivery, so it is a slightly poorly way of reassuring sellers they are covered against issues.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. and yes it does appear, just a bug in the system.
You can indeed send LL with Simply Delivery, there should be a selection form on the Sell Your Item Flow for "Package Size" and you can choose where your item fits.
£2.72 for Royal Mail (with free collection should you wish), I think Evri is slightly more expensive (£2.94 maybe).

Aha, of course- the simplest explanation is likely to be the correct ne, it's obvious now you change 'purchased' for 'posted', sorry OP.

I don't think it is a bug that this appears when using SD , rather an attempt by ebay to reassure the seller that ebay will handle all issues.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's a bit weird, you send a message to say "thanks, packed, posted, enjoy" and then this appearssoolin said:

It's the "your buyer has reached out about their order" bit which doesn't fit as the buyer hasn't done anything at this stage, as the seller is the one who has sent a message.
I say it's a bit weird, this eBay, so I guess it's normal!
