Yes whatever you receive from Carers Allowance should be deduced from UC.

Agree with Spoonie, looks like you entered on benefit calculator that you had LCWRA, when you had LCW

I must have got confused. I was on ESA WRAG so assumed that was LCWRA? Is LCWRA ESA Support group then?

ESA Support Group is LCWRA (limited capability for work and work related activity). ESA WRAG is UC LCW (limited capability for work).
Is your transitional protection amount correct?

Apologies, I meant has your TP been calculated correctly, from when you migrated from income related ESA to UC.

    Hi there,

My new statement for my universal credit has arrived and my payment has increased from £359.58 last month to £708.68 this month? Is this a mistake? I have had no change in circumstances so am really confused.

I usually get £360.97 taken off for carers payment but this month it is only taking £11 off of my universal credit?

Incorrect deductions for other benefits happen from time to time, especially around the April increases.

You need to add a Journal note (using the payment option) stating that the Carers Allowance deduction is incorrect and you've been overpaid UC as a result.

Once that's been sorted, a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed due to overpayment. Repayment instructions will be on the letter. A new correct version of the statement will be added.

Mine was totally wrong for this month. On Monday I got a journal message, about this. Advising correct amount was now shown in payments, but that I needed to pay the excess back.

Said that as nothing was due till 7th, that it should not be hitting my account. Advised today that payment was sent 01-05 so will need to pay back the excess when it arrives.
