Morning all (just!) and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons. Glad you had a fun night with your pals x

I have just finished coat #3 in the hallway and landing. Don’t want to attempt the stairwell walls as would involve the big ladder. DH is at work today but at over 6’ and with orangutan arms he doesn’t have to climb as high as me (5’ and T-Rex arms). 

I have some errands to run in town later. DSis and I are organising a final couple of fundraisers, the first of which is a quiz night on Saturday. I need to get prizes and wooden spoons, plus apparently sainsbobs have half price beef joints? Will take a look.  I’m also going to attempt my first Boots recycle as I need some night cream. 

Dinner will be cooked by DS2 as he’s not working today. He will do Tom Kerridges mascarpone chicken mmmmm. 

I hope you do decide to walk @silver-oldie as the company may help xx

@weenancyinAmerica - I've just read your last comment on the Decluttering thread and had to pop back in to send you hugs.  I don't know how feasible it would be for you to declutter your roommates but you certainly deserve better from them.  I really hope you can find a solution for a new and better start to 2026.  X

She has such a stressful time with her roomates it's a wonder she can function half the time. Sorry weenancy, but I'd vote for get rid of them and get some better ones....
