carflow / bpa - entered wrong hours

my partner recieved a pcn from car flow.
approved operator - bpa / healthcare charter parking.

she works across various hospitals in the region and sometimes uses these car parks.

she was using a hire car at the time - the company have given car flow the details who have now directly sent across the pcn (unsure how significant this is - but from my reading seems relevant)

entered at 08.55
left at 15.11
total of 6hrs, 15 mins (she had been told by the car parking operator they have a grace period so she only needed to pay 9-3 {6hrs}

unfortunately she used an app to pay and made an entry error instead of entering 9am-3pm ....she entered 3pm to 9pm, and paid for 6 hours (just the wrong hours - with app evidence)

pcn postal date - 8 oct 25
pcn issue date - 10 oct 25
date of event - 4 sept 25
original pstal date - 10 sep 25
original issue date- 12 sep 25

what would be the best way of proceeding with

    With Carflow, do not use a template. Treat them as a normal company and they might be reasonable. Tell us how she gets on because we only know this stuff from people's experiences over the years.

    Tell her to appeal as admitted driver and tell them her mistake and ask for the PCN to please be cancelled. I think they might.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    As above. Do a proper honest appeal and it most likely will be cancelled . Explain it was a hire car
