Hi, I am starting the process, so any advice, review and help along the way would be greatly appreciated.
Chronology to date:
1 - Received claim form from DCBL
2 - Filed an AOS on moneyclaim well within 14 days of the issue date.
3 - Starting to draft my defence to below.
Particulars of Claim states:
1. The Defendant (D) is indebted to the Claimant (C) For a Parking Charge (PC) issued to vehicle *MY REG* at *CAR PARK LOCATION*.
2. The date of contravention is *Date* and the D was issued with a PCV by the claimant.
3. The Defendant is pursued as the driver of the vehicle for breach of the terms on the signs (the contract). Reason: ANPR Failure to Pay For Parking
4. In the alternative the Defendant is pursued as the keeper pursuant to POFA 2012, Schedule 4.
AND THE CLAIMANT CLAIMS
1. £160 being the total of the PC and damages.
2 Interest at a rate of 8.00% per annum pursuant to s.69 of the County Courts Act 1984 from the date hereof at a daily rate of £0.02 until judgment or sooner payment.
3. Costs and court fees

1) you actually received the N1SDT claim form from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, not from the debt collectors DCBL, who are not involved at all
The claimant is Bank Park via DCB LEGAL, Reason: ANPR Failure to Pay For Parking
2) post the issue date from the top right of the claim form below
Adapt the template defence by coupon mad from announcements2 -
Thanks Gr1pr. I have used the (10 paragraph) template defence by coupon mad from announcements and I (using AI) have assessed that the POC above does not adequately state the breach, therefore I have used the CEL v CHAN & CPMS v AKANDE stock paragraph 3. Any comments on the my(AIs) assessment of the POC?2

"Failure to Pay For Parking" is adequate, so ignore Chan and Akande.
It's the usual DCB Legal template and the case will be discontinued in a few months anyway.2 -
Got a text message on Friday reminding me of mediation call on Monday that I got an email or letter about. Not received either so hope they have my number to call me.

You did get an email. They always go to junk folders.
Take the call if they ring. You know what to say and how to end it in 3 minutes!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
