Bank Park - Where do I go from here?

I am looking for advice on my situation. A month or so ago, I parked in a car park over the weekend. Right next to where I parked was a parking meter and this showed that the parking was free. I still got a free 'ticket'. When I visited my car on the Saturday night, I realised there was a parking meter in the far corner of the car park, hidden away, and I had infact parked in a private parking area (and not council as the first meter made out). I had also come and gone a few times so fully expected a PCN to come through. I was honest and tried emailing and ringing Bank Park to try and retrospectively pay, but it seems impossible to actually speak to anyone.
As expected, a week later, I had 2 PCNs for my car from this incredibly poorly signposted and marked car park. I immediately appealed both PCNs on the day I received them (received on 4/11/25 for tickets given on 30/10/25). The tickets are by Bank Park. I received an email after both appeals to say it would take 28 days for the appeal to process and a decision to be reached. During this time, the email stated, my PCN would be held at the initial £60.
However, last Friday (21/11/25), I received 2 further 'final reminder' letters with my PCNs now at £100 each. These were dated on 13/11/25. I have not had any response to my appeal yet my PCNs haven't been held at the correct amount. They have the usual threats on and I've already lost a week since they were sent out. I, again, tried emailing and ringing but cannot get through to anyone. I still have zero response to my appeal. I can't go to POPLA because my appeal hasn't been 'rejected', nor can I go to IAS because, again, my appeal hasn't been rejected. Furthermore, I only have 3 days before the rate goes up further and it seems impossible to get anywhere in this situation.
I looked at the car park afterwards on Google Maps and it seems like many people fall to this same mistake because of how the meters are placed. Bank Park also have terrible reviews for similar issues.
I am unsure what to do in this situation? I don't want to risk dragging it out and court etc though I have a strong case as it currently stands. I did speak to my bank about the situation and I suggested paying with credit card then disputing it through the bank since they the company haven't followed what they had said.
Any other advice on how to approach this please?
Thanks!

IGNORE THEM
Court is the only fair way where this is sorted out, if they issue a Money Claim within the next 6 years1 -
How often do these things actually go to court? Obviously it's concerning reading the usual stuff on the letter (may impact credit score etc etc etc). But they're getting away with SO much here and so little to defend yourself/contest things.Gr1pr said:IGNORE THEM

It's a spurious invoice for alleged breach of contract. Not sure how the bank's advice of paying a scammer £100 and then trying to get it back would be of any use.
A month has passed now so you couldn't even go to one of the kangaroo dispute services anyway.
Who cares if the mug's discount expires. You're not paying anyway. You WANT a court claim. It's the only way to get rid of the cockroaches. They just operate the usual scam - pass it to DCB Legal, who discontinue a few months later.
If you want cheeeing up, have a laugh at the drivel on their website!

Most cases never see a claim. Half a million claims per year are private parking cases but almost none reach hearings.rockinaway said:

Obviously getting a claim form and defending it doesn't affect your credit score or the law would be an A.S.S.! You are perfectly safe to follow our advice. We do this daily, it's like Groundhog Day here.
Just ignore them happily but tell them if you move house, of course.
Come back if you get a Claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
