Longbridge parking charge

Hi,
I have received a parking charge for parking in a no parking zone, which was recently changed from a drop off/pick up only zone. I've contacted my MP and complained to the land owner.
I'll be sending the template appeal to the parking company, but first wanted to check if the misprint (text overlayed in top right corner) will help my case in any way and if it should be mentioned?

You can mention the unreadable text at POPLA stage and say that the NTK fails to identify the creditor due to the overwritten text. It's not a strong point though.
Do not pay this at any point.
Do not admit to driving.
However, your best appeal point (POPLA stage, not yet) will be the lack of additional signs warning people who are used to that being a drop-off bay, that it is now a trap because they have pointlessly reinvented it without telling local drivers about the new change!
That's a winning point at POPLA.
But of course you are NOT APPEALING YET are you. That's not Plan A.

Thanks for the advice and the link.
Can I check that plan A is ask the land owner to cancel it, but if that doesn't work by day 26, I appeal to Horizon and then POPLA?0 -
Correct, in that order2

If no parking was the intention, why isn't it all coned off? It indicates parking is permitted after the cones end.2
-
I've found out that it was around a year ago they updated the signs, but have recently started enforcing it more, am I still likely to win the case?
Here's the current sign for reference:

It doesn't matter whether you win at POPLA or not. The advice on this forum and in the official MSE Guide is very clear: do NOT pay unfair charges.
You don't pay private parking charges all the time the rogue industry remains an unregulated Wild West.

I'd get onto Savills and ask for them to cancel it. Say there is nothing to indicate no parking, that it has changed from a pickup zone with no notice and why aren't there any lines?2
-
Thanks Coupon-mad.
Car1980 I've emailed a complaint to Savills and I'm waiting to hear back. Also the cones aren't normally there, so they may have been doing some unrelated work.2 -
But ask yourself this: why does the area look like a bay or layby for cars?Sam264647 said:

No lines have been painted to demarcate it differently. Also, the sign is unlit by the looks of it, and there's no warning that CCTV is being used.
The camera is covertly hidden high up.
A typical current PPC scam.

Please let me know how you get on appealing this.Sam264647 said:Hi,

I know this carpark. The current signage isn't consistent (from no parking to drop off 5 mins) and where you parked has changed from what used to be permitted.
I hope you are successful.1
