Claim from the court - What do I do next?

Hi, my car was parked at my brother's hospital accommodation for just over a week. I then received multiple PCN's and debt recovery notices for a few months as I'm the registered keeper.
I have now received a claim from the court from UK parking control ltd. for a ridiculous amount £1400.
My brother has provided me with his proof of tenancy agreement, showing that he lives there and has permission, as he was using the car at the time.
How is it best that I proceed? Do email complaints@ukparkingcontrol.com (best email I could find) stating this and attaching the tenancy agreement? Or is best to come from my brother himself? Or is another form of contact better?
Any help very much appreciated.
Thank you.

If you have a claim form from the CNBC in Northampton, it's too late for any of your story above, you must defend it
Study the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad
What is the issue date from the top right of the claim form ?
How many pcns are they chasing you for ?
Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first, leaving the other details intact
You are not allowed to post personal information or private information on here, so double check before uploading any pictures3 -
Ok, here is the form - issue date 20th November 2025.
7 PCN's they are chasing me for.
I have all the response pack forms too.
Again, my brother lives at the accommodation for the parking area and has permission to park there.
Any help very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Ukpc, dcb legal claim for 7 pcns, which arent all listed in the POC details, issue date 20th November
Complete the AOS online on MCOL later this week, say Wednesday
Looks like they added spurious debt collectors charges to each and every pcn

Yeah it's a ridiculous juiced-up amount.
So I complete the acknowledgement of service on Wednesday, that gives me 28 days.
Do I select 'I intend to defend all of this claim'?
And then explain my story?
So is it not worth trying to contact uk parking control ltd in any way with the evidence to explain the story?
Thanks.0 -
Study the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements to see how to do the AOS online
Forget about the story, you are going to adapt the template defence based on rebutting the POC on the lower left of the claim form
Do not contact anyone3 -
"Various reasons" is not sufficient under the CPRs. See the template, but also with Chan and Akande.3

Ok, great. I have downloaded the 'How to acknowledge the money claim online' PDF
And I believe I have the right thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-cases-with-added-admin-dra-costs-edited-in-2025/p1
And I am quoting the Chan and Akande cases in my defence? (also the letters of claim I got prior to this were from dcb legal)
Thanks again, will keep you updated as I go on.1 -
Unusually, you can use Chan & Akande because they've put the breaches as 'various reasons' and failed to specify the 7 dates.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
