Moorside legal letter no ref to which fine

It’s been a hot second but I once again turn to the board for advice.
A letter from moorside landed today, quoting only the case relating to pcm.
I haven’t had a pcm notice in over a year, and it was relating to parking in my own numbered bay at my home address. I asked my landlord (Peabody) to remove it as I refused to be find for parking in my own bay (because they hadn’t issued the new permits yet.)
I assumed the issue was taken care of after speaking to the area manager at the time but I can only assume this relates to that as I have no clue what else it could be as I never ignore fines. So for me I’m
a bit clueless to what it’s definately for.

I assume Moorside and pcm
will say their hands are tied and I expect Peabody will say now it’s gone legal we can’t do anything so I’m at at loss.
Any advice 🙏

But LBC stage is covered in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread and is exactly where you want to be. The beginning of the easy 'end game' where Moorside will file a claim form but will discontinue in 2026. Bring.it.on!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've received the exact same template today. I guess today was the day their mail-merge software was set to run to dispatch another round of these desperate, hail mary, 'please give us money to make us leave you alone' letters.Just goes to show how shoddy they are. I'm hacked off with it enough to the point to complain to the SRA about them.1

They all use mailing houses. The address on the envelope with be nowhere near their actual office. You're just a line on a spreadsheet.1
