witness statement time

Just got a letter through from the courts with a date so I'm preparing my witness statement now. currently they want around £260.  Just recently after  I received the last letter, DCBLegal emailed me offering me to settle for 35 quid. As tempting as it was (not really) I've just ignored it. The PCN is for my Mrs so I'm doing this on behalf of her. I've drafted out a rough witness statement so far and I'm thinking of driving to the place where it was issued and filming as I drive in so show the lack of signage. Problem is this PCN is from 6 years ago now! And I know the carpark has changed alot. So would any evidence of pics/videos be relevant ? I need to submit the WS no later than 4/12/2025.

The PCN was issued for overstaying the time limit which is 3 hours. My partner was there for 3 hours 15 minutes. She's a very slow shopper.
