ATOM Bank - scrolling screenshots?

I recall being able to take a screenshot in the Atom banking app (when enabled via help), and would be able to select 'scroll' for it to take a scrolling screenshot.

Has this been recently disabled on the app or are you still able to do this?

Thanks

  • Android app  - v 3.47.01 - does not allow screenshots (scrolling or otherwise).
  • Interesting - that's the version I'm using.  I'm able to take screenshots, but not able to capture scrolled shots.

Is there an option to download transaction histories for say a 12 month period in PDF / CSV formats like most banks do?

I'm able to take screenshots within the Atom app but they come out black so presumably they're blocked for security reasons. If this security measure is built-in to the app then you'd presume the type of phone used wouldn't make a difference, so it's odd that you're able to.

You can't download transaction summaries in the form of PDF or CSV files from Atom as far as I'm aware, but the majority of banks and building societies I use also don't offer this option so it may not be as common as you think. They do obviously provide PDF statements though - either monthly or annually, depending on the account.

Prohibition must be implemented in different ways on different phones, my Samsung just throws up an "app does not allow screenshots" message.
