Investment email security

Hi.
I have a folder on my Gmail called 'Investments' showing all the confirmation emails etc so that I can keep track of my investments. As it is a gmail account, I can obviously sign onto it online, which is why I don't have the app on my phone. When I log in on my Mac, all the subfolders are there but when I look on my phone, the 'Investments' folder has no subfolder and is empty. All other folders and subfolders are there.
Is it possible this is some sort of hack? I really have no idea as it is definitely there when I log in on my computer.
Many thanks
Pauline

No, it will just be out of sync. The app can be a bit temperamental. Nicked from Google……..To refresh the folders in the Gmail app, swipe down from the top of your inbox on both Android and iOS devices. If this doesn't work, ensure that Gmail sync is enabled in your device's account settings, check that folders are set to be visible in your label settings, and try clearing the app's cache.0

Assume that your phone is an iPhone?0

Is it web based or an email program (like outlook or thunderbird etc)? If an email program are you using POP3 or IMAP? again, if an email program, have you set the download timescale (e.g. last 30 days, 90 days, custom or all data?)

@dunstonh Hi. I am using the default web browser which is Google Chrome. The strange thing is that every other file is up to date, and I checked by adding things today. Everything appears when I go into my email via Google Chrome, but using the same route on my iphone, so I should simply be accessing the same information as I am on my Mac, the Investments folder is blank.0

Just to be clear. The way Gmail works it isn't actually a folder, it's a label so you can have more than one label on the same email. Do you see any labels listed on the LHS of your screen?dizzyblonde1961 said:@dunstonh Hi. I am using the default web browser which is Google Chrome. As above, try searching for a particular email on your phone0
