For anyone considering baling out of Smithson, any suggestions as to similar(ish) IT or funds to investigate ?
Do you want another mid-cap actively managed growth fund? Would you consider a global small/mid-cap index fund, or even cross the floor to small cap value?

I would consider all of the market segments/structures/styles that you mentioned. If I've got the timetable correct, there is probably a month or so before anything starts to happen therefore I'm currently evaluating the possibilities.
Admittedly,  I do have a slight preference for 'quality' or 'growth at a reasonable  price', but I'm trying to be open minded at present,  therefore nothing has been ruled in or ruled out (apart from , maybe , Herald,  which seems very complicated currently due to the somewhat bizarre Tender situation).
