I havent received any emails on my ISAs. I do think VM might be reverifying identities though, as I have several ex Northern Rock VM accounts for a number of years, not had problems opening them and transferring to higher rates before. I opened a new fixed rate ISA account a couple of weeks ago, which never seemed to fully open so I couldn't transfer to it. They had apparently decided to send me a postal letter, I think it had a process to verify ID in it. I've put the money elsewhere as I would have to wait for either it to be delivered or a replacement letter sent now.0
