to answer your question from before: driver and keeper happen to be the same not sure if that makes a difference to this complaint email?ChirpyChicken said:Wait this is what i would do
Trust me on this , i know the director of this firm (and his wife) and he thinks he is clever he is not
If the keeper and driver were different people i would drop a quick email to him giving him the drivers details, he being arrogant will claim liability has not been transferred as the paper form has not been filled in
Now as they use BW Legal this will proceed to a hearing in most cases, but within that email you have the full defence needed
i have seen actual news articles about this guy having gone to jail before for some of his PPC behaviour so im not surprised he is arrogant.
so am i still in the right course to send the complaints email then? unsurprisingly im anxious about this actually going to court as i have funeral stress upcoming and my job to be worried about too0 -
The complaint email wont change the process or stop you getting a court claim, but that is nothing to worry aboutsix_pack_gogurt said:

it is a shame they are the same people3 -
CPMS may start a Money Claim via B W Legal or a similar lawyer company, but as it hasn't started yet, any actual court claim hearing is probably 6 to 12 months away, if it gets that far ,from the date of the claim to any conclusion, financially good or bad for you it takes a long timesix_pack_gogurt said:

Neither does it affect any immediate plans regarding lifes other troubles like funerals or employment due to that length of time3 -

Put what I said to put and start the email with:
This is a formal complaint about your (unusable for registered keepers) website. You must log this as a complaint but also treat it as my appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

so as a final once over this is what is planned to send
To whom it may concern
This is a formal complaint about your (unusable for registered keepers) website. You must log this as a complaint but also treat it as my appeal.
I am writing to complain about a "Notice to Keeper" letter where you have falsely claimed the right to appeal the ticket XXXXX has lapsed as this is the first "Notice to Keeper" I have received. This letter has been posted on MSE forums and the lies & barriers against appeals will be reported to the MHCLG immediately, by a member of the consumer side Steering Group.
As you have not provided a clear appeals process on this letter I am also writing to make clear that I am disputing this 'outrageous scam' invoice because I am a reasonable person but I am well aware the whole set up is futile and I will not be trying Will Hurley's non-impartial 'IAS' even if you paid me.
See you in court,
thanks again for all of your help
edit: the subject line i assume its meant to be the ticket reference number?2 -
The words 'formal complaint' should be in the title along with the PCN ref.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It will either be ignored or a pointed response.six_pack_gogurt said:thank you everyone again

Yep, it isn't meant to 'work'. It is purely to send a shot across their bows.
You will see them in court in the end and that's real resolution.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
