No, just wait for the real letters in post 2 of the NEWBIES FAQs thread.

Please DON'T come & show us the £170 threatograms shown in post 4 of that resource thread. We never need or want to see those again!

  • ok thanks! wasnt sure if there was anything i had to do or chase up. only when things get to the next stage i'll look to post again thanks :)

  • hello again :) i have received an email from the solicitor about the £160 payment. my latest question is not about this payment but rather about questioning how they got my email in the first place.

i assume that the parking company gave it to them as they will have had it from when i sent a complaint (that they only treated as an appeal not actually acknowledging the complaint part). is this information that the company are actually allowed to give to the solicitor? i was under the impression that all correspondence should be physical letters but please correct me if i am wrong.

they have given a deadline of 31st march to pay so if i understand the newbie thread correctly i will not receive the LOC/LBC until after that time

Yes the solicitor is allowed to have & use the contact details held by their client. They can text or email or phone you, not merely send letters.

CPMS at your residence I think?

    Which solicitor firm?

Please edit your thread title to include CPMS and the solicitor firm. It'll help us to help you, if and when you get a claim form.

OK, wait and see if a claim form arrives as that must be defended, of course.
