Duvet recommendations - non natural filling

I'd read a similar thread on here but my question is slightly different
I am looking for a new superking winter duvet - probably around 13 tog - but due to allergies I do not want/cannot have one with a natural filling such as wool or feathers, so I am looking for a recommendation for a synthetic filled one.
I don't really know where to start, there are so many out there and no way to know which are good. At the minute I have 20% of M&S ones - has anyone got one of them and can recommend or tell me to steer clear?

All other recommendations welcome!

I suggest a 4.5 tog + 9 tog such that they are easier to wash

I have a lightweight 4.5 tog one for summer already, and can fit my current 13 tog one in the local laundrette which I'm happy to continue to do. It's just past its best and needs replaced0

You don't state your allergies but my son is allergic to most things tbh - def cat/dog dander and dust mites. He's had the anti allergy duvets which were fine, but has had best success with a wool duvet (we got ours from Baavet - just make sure it's 100% wool). Dust mites can't live in the wool so he actually is less congested/asthmatic with this than with his older synthetic one.
I know it sounds counter-intuitive but am definitely a convert.
DH and I also have a wool duvet as he runs hot and I used to run cold, now I run even hotter thanks to menopause. I am allergic to wool, can't wear even 1% wool due to itching/heat but am fine with the duvet. And have far far fewer sweats than with either my synthetic duvet or my feather and down one.:eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20171 -
Thanks - I am super allergic to most natural fillings, and would just be scared to take the risk and then be stuck with something I couldn't use if it set me off! I'd rather stick with what I'm used to and what I know will not irritate!0

Go for the M&S fresh and cool, with 40% off at the moment that’s a good buy.
I’d be wary of the ‘guest’ ones. The covers look flimsy and that will impact the feel of the duvet, even though you have a cover on it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have an anti allergy one from John Lewis, it's polyester filling. It's a 13.5tog but is actually two duvets you can use separately as 4.5tog (perfect for summer) or 9tog (currently using this one) or attach them together for 13.5tog (amazing if it really gets super cold!) Wasn't the cheapest but it's honestly the best duvet I've ever had.1
