MET Parking Fine

Hi there, I have been reading about MET parking fines and I too also have one. I am a delivery driver and parked in a disabled bay for approximately 60 seconds whilst collecting a delivery at McDonalds earlier this year! I know I am at fault but can anyone tell me if this company will keep raising the fine if I don't pay it. I did appeal it in the first instance because they had the time of parking incorrect by over an hour but they have rejected this?! any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is no fine, never was
There was a Parking Charge Notice, PCN, probably for £100, that charge figure never changes, never goes up
Ignore them and wait for a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice, possibly followed by a Money Claim1 -
You'll never pay it but always completely avoid accessible bays in future,sjr77 said:Hi there, I have been reading about MET parking fines and I too also have one. You'll get £170 threatograms (shown in post 4 of the NEWBIES thread). Ignore those, except - obviously - you must tell MET if you move address. That's because you must not miss the claim form.
Which is GOOD NEWS because that's when you will win, no hearing, no CCJ, no costs. DCB Legal run MET claims and always discontinue.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
