Yes A shade Greener had an app so she could see all of the information.
His new energy supplier need the information to adjust his account I believe and confirm instillation.
i will try and find out the additional information and update my post.
    Thank you xx

The energy company doesn't need to know anything about the installation.  A Shade Greener will have a contract with whatever energy company they have chosen, and are entitled to all of the money they get from that.
All your brother gets is free electricity when it's sunny, and a little when it's cloudy too.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

We have ASG solar panels, there is no app as far as I'm aware just a website access with login details - "readings.ashadegreener.co.uk" The information there is very basic and only reflects a summary of the amount of electricity generated by the panels. I attach a screenshot of what is shown there. We had a look at this website couple of days after buying the house, and never since until now  as it is rather useless for everyday needs.

What is useful instead is live data on solar generation so that you know how much free electricity is being generated at any particular moment and can decide to plug in an appliance or two while the solar power is flowing. We have this data thanks to Zappi electric car charger, but I'm sure there are standalone monitors you can get.
