World cup tickets FIFA .

As a Scot i don't bother much until now but have i got this correct .
FIFA have already sold over one million tickets mostly too Americans through phase one and phase two .
Only the most expensive tickets can be bought with the cheaper tickets costing $60 and $100 almost unobtainable .
What you have to do is take part in a random draw .
So if you get a ticket in Mexico with say Cape Verde playing Japan you need to resell and try to get ticket in say Boston to watch Scotland playing Canada . These are just examples .
Best way to make biggest profits FIFA say .
Phase three starts after draw on December 5th .

I think the ticket distribution has been that way for quite a while, both for World Cups and Euros, i.e. initial sales prior to knowing which teams are in the draw and then further tranches afterwards.0

Its FIFA, I am not sure why anyone would expect any different, Thieves and con merchants, corrupt to the core."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

TBH, it's probably better spending the money on a really good TV and watching at home. The whole FIFA process is ridiculous not to mention the risk of entering Trump-land. Outside chance of a ticket in Phase 3, but then flights and hotels will probably jump in price.1

As above, I know it's not the same but I'd perhaps invest in a decent set-up at home (maybe even a Perfect Draft or something if you want a proper 'pub style' beer) - and the bonus is FIFA get less of your money.
Either that, or stay over in Glasgow / Edinburgh etc on match days and enjoy the atmosphere in a pub - that's what I'm planning to do with my Scottish wife (who is both amazed and very excited that Scotland have qualified)0 -
The whole World Cup looks like being a fiasco. Trump is allegedly banning fans from certain countries which goes against all the rules set down by FIFA for allocating the World Cup to a country. Infantino though seems to have said that's OK because it's his mate Trump doing it.Fans could have to travel many thousands of miles just to watch the group matches. The advice to buy a good telly and watch from home seem sound, although fans won't do that.0

I'm planning on going somewhere warm with cheap beer during the World Cup (Tenerife maybe) but a few days in Scotland (before they get knocked out) sounds like a good idea.
Another problem with the World Cup will be kickoff times. An 8pm game in LA is going to be 4am here but a midday kickoff will have temperatures unknown in Scotland.

Whats the point of going all that way just to be picked up by ICE0
