Warm jumper for old bloke - where to buy online?

I'm pushing 80, I feel the cold something chronic now and I'm in need of a proper warm jumper or cardi. Problem is, there's never anything like in the local charity shops, and I can't get to go shopping in the nearest big town. And wherever I look online, all the jumpers seem to be thin things for limp young fellers to go posing in!
Anybody got any ideas please?

sports direct - they have lots more clothes than just sports clothes. They often have discounts all year round. TK Maxx, Next also have a good range but of course that depends on budget. If you have a Facebook account, there are often clothes going for free or for sale. I've also bought a lot of used stuff on eBay1

Have you considered an electrically heated gilet?2

Weird Fish fleeces are what this old bloke wears. (Well M&S vest, M&S Merino wool jumper and WF fleece at the moment). Layers are important.

Other online retailers will have similar products.
Head covering helps one keep warmer. So hoodie tops may help? Or something like the Marquess of Bath wore on his head? Seriously considering something like that myself!

I find that a fleece top ( can be like a sweater style or a cardigan zip style ) far warmer than any jumper I own. They are lightweight, easy to wash and dry quickly compared with wool etc. some are obvs more stylish than other casual types. Look online at Amazon, Mountain warehouse Supermarkets etc. They are very good value and longlasting. Named sports branded ones will be more expensive. Hundreds to choose from2

I have a few of these, they are thin, but really warm, when it gets really cold a Hoodie over top is even better.
Not forgetting that a good base layer thermal top&/or bottoms are great. Often found in middle isle @ Aldi/LidlLife in the slow lane1 -
Thanks very much indeed one and all. Sod it, you're only old once, so I'm going to push the boat out and order something from both Weird Fish and Chums

What about wearing two thinner layers, say a vest type top and then a long sleeved t shirt material top, the layers will keep you warm and then you don't need a big bulky jumper. Make sure you wear warm socks too, I recommend Heat Holders socks.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
