Need help and advice

So back in September I stayed at an AirBnB/Hotel type accommodation. Lots of parking spaces and I in my innocence thought the parking was free. I parked for a period 12 days sometimes going in and out of the parking place 3/4 times a day.
I ended up receiving around 15/20 fines sent to my mates address who was the registered owner of the Vehicle.
I engaged with the company to tell them I have recently travelled back from abroad having stayed outside the UK for a few years hoping they'd show some leniency but ofcourse nothing. Now the fines were multiple and yesterday my mate received this letter. If the amount of 170 pounds is the total then id happily pay it as I don't want anymore stress for me or my mate but if thats just for one fine then what do I do?
Attached is a copy of the letter.
Some advice would be highly appreciated.
Thank you very much.

So the private parking company is Ocean Parking and you are not the Registered Keeper, your friend is the Registered Keeper ( forget about ownership, it's presumably their name on the V5c log book )
You cannot do anything at the moment, its addressed to your friend, the RK
the private pcns your friend received will have mentioned naming the driver , on the back
So if your friend wants out of it, they should inform Ocean Parking of the drivers details, in writing, with the drivers name and address for the service of papers ( using the law named POFA 2012 to transfer liability to the driver, from the keeper )
Once it's your name on the letters, you can deal with each one , because its you being chased, not them
You should have read the signs and obtained a permit1 -
Do you still have an address abroad or have you moved back to UK permanently?2

Come on you WON'T happily pay scam private parking invoices! Noooooo!
Do not offer money. NO PAYING.
But your mate needs to reply to ALL 15 PCNs nominating you as the driver. It's unfair that he gets the daft letters to ignore. You should.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
