Does anyone use/is it worth using Promoted Listings?

Wondered what other sellers thoughts are on Promoted Listings. I'm a private seller selling mostly clothing from myself and family.
I have been having a sort through my bric-a-brac, unused gifts etc as Christmas is approaching thought I would have a clear out.
One item is getting no views despite having good photos (I always take care with them and descriptions) and i think it's because it is a niche item, not something someone would look for but if seen may think 'Ooh that's nice!'
So I looked at promoting the listing to see if i get more views. Ive read all the info but it seems impossible to get an actual cost so Im not sure if its worth doing. The item is only £15 and is on BIN or Best Offer.
Does anyone use the promoted feature and if so do you find it helps?

I did use for some items, probably nearly a year ago now, didint seem to make much difference. However assuming the scheme is still the same, then you only pay when it sells, so it’s not that risky to give it a go.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think it’s changed that yes you pay when it sells, but it’s now if anyone clicks on it you are charged regardless if they bid or not.soolin said:I did use for some items, probably nearly a year ago now, didint seem to make much difference.
