Butlins weekend booked today. All shows and activities fully booked.

Just wondered if anyone knows my consumer rights regarding a refund.  I’ve just booked a festive weekend at butlins in a fortnights time.  I did ring up earlier today to ask if it was possible that all the pantomimes, shows and events would be fully booked and was told that it wasn’t peak season so probably not.  The staff could not check but the lady said we could always wait outside at the showtime and if some people didn’t turn up we could maybe get in but don’t fancy just standing around hoping.   I’ve gone ahead and booked the weekend and when I’ve gone on the app the only show that is not fully booked is at 8.00 pm on the Sunday night which is totally unsuitable as I have a three year old and five year old.  All the football, play areas meet Father Christmas and other activities (apart from the extra fee activities) are all booked up.  I am really annoyed at this and would like a refund but I haven’t taken out insurance.  Wondered if I had any right regarding a refund considering I’d only booked it an hour ago.   Any advice out there thanks.  I will ring them first thing in the morning thanks for any help.

I went through the booking system and the advertising page but couldn't find any terms and conditions.
Did you get any with your booking before you paid?
Usually you have to tick the box to say you have read them. Did it give an option out?    

Did it say anywhere that all the activities were included? I'm guessing not because you rang to ask.

That's sneaky to continue to advertise when it's not available.

The attraction of the break is that  activities and shows/entertainment are available and included in the price.    It was the Christmas events that attracted me to the break.   Very misleading if you can’t go to the shows when you are there.    I wouldn’t have booked.  Fuming.

I’m not confident that I will get a refund so wondered if I had any rights.

Update.  Rang up this morning and received a refund because it was within 24 hours.  Phew!
